Metro Hall is a tall postmodern office building in Toronto , Ontario , Canada . The building is at the intersection of Wellington Street and John Street . It has 27 floors and reaches a height of 127 meters. The building is part of the Metro Center complex and was completed in 1992. The building was initially the seat of the local government of Toronto (Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto) and their employees. Today the building is used by the City of Toronto , which is also the owner of the building. There are several administrative offices in the building.
