Metrolinx
Metrolinx is a Canadian public transport operator that operates primarily in the Greater Toronto Area .
The company was founded in 2006 by the provincial government of Ontario to improve local transport in Canada's largest metropolitan area. A first master plan was published two years later .
Metrolinx today consists of the following business areas:
- GO Transit , operates the network of suburban trains and buses around Toronto
- Union Pearson Express , airport shuttle
- Presto Card , electronic ticket
