Pachaiyappa's College Metro Station

The metro station Pachaiyappa's College ( Tamil : பச்சையப்பன் கல்லூரி ) is an underground subway station of Chennai Metro . It is served by the Green Line .

Pachaiyappa's College Metro Station is located on EVR Periyar Salai (Poonamallee High Road) on the border of Shenoy Nagar and Chetpet neighborhoods . In the immediate vicinity there are two traditional educational institutions: the eponymous Pachaiyappa's College and St. George's Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School . So that they can be integrated into the surrounding old architecture, the access structures of the Pachaiyappa's College metro station are designed in the historicizing style and clad with red terracotta tiles. The metro station has a central platform with platform screen doors . It opened on May 14, 2017.
