Butcher's Tower (Ribeauvillé)
The Metzgerturm (French Tour des Bouchers ) is a medieval gate tower in Ribeauvillé (Rappoltsweiler) , Alsace , and the town's landmark. The butcher's tower was built in the late 13th century between the upper and middle town and raised in the Gothic period. In the clock tower there is still a bell that signaled the night curfew to the townspeople in the Middle Ages .
