Mexican Embassy in Montevideo
The Embajada de México (Mexican Embassy in Montevideo) is a building in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo .
The building, erected around 1860, is located in the Ciudad Vieja on Calle 25 de Mayo 512 between Treinta y Tres and Ituzaingó streets . The diplomatic mission of Mexico in Uruguay is based in the building, which was originally designed as a residential and commercial building . Information about the architect is not available. In 1975 and 2007 renovations took place. While the former took place under the direction of the architect Samuel Flores Flores , Rafael Lorente Mourelle was responsible for the second after successfully completing the competition in the same year . The ten-meter-high, three-storey building covers a floor area of 399 m².
