Meyer Friedman

Meyer Friedman ( July 13, 1910 - April 27, 2001 ) was an American cardiologist .

Together with his colleague Ray. H. Rosenman , he developed the theory in the 1950s that nervous and hectic people are subject to an increased risk of heart attacks .

These investigations gave the impetus for the development of a health psychology that includes people's moods in their investigations.
