The FC Meyrin is a Swiss football club from Meyrin in the Canton of Geneva . The club colors are yellow and black.
In 1914 some football-crazy young people founded FC Meyrin. With the exception of the 1996/97 and 2005/06 seasons, he never played in the top two football leagues in Switzerland. Most of the time, Genevans were in the first division , the third highest division.
In the 2005/06 season, Geneva ended up in last place in the Challenge League and has therefore been back in the first division since then. The club is known for its junior department; this is where Johann Vogel and Patrick Müller began their careers.
In the 2014/15 season, Meyrin was only second to last and was relegated to the 2nd interregional league .
