Miaohoushan site

The Miaohoushan site ( 庙后 山 遗址 , Miàohòushān yízhǐ , English Miaohoushan site ) in Benxi County (本溪县) in northeast China 's Liaoning Province is a cave site from the early Paleolithic . The Miaohoushan culture (Miàohòushān wénhuà 庙后 山 文化; English Miaohoushan Culture) is named after her. The site was explored by the Chinese archaeologist Jia Lanpo .

The Miaohoushan site (Miaohoushan yizhi 庙后 山 遗址) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-47) since 2006 .
