Michael Ahlsdorf (* 1961 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and book author. He was editor-in-chief of Bikers News magazine from 1999 to 2015 . He is also the author of several specialist books on the rocker scene.

Life

Ahlsdorf studied philosophy and did a doctorate in Protestant theology on the subject of Nietzsche's Jews: the philosophical appropriation of Old Testament Judaism and the influence of Julius Wellhausen in Nietzsche's late work at the Free University of Berlin . He then worked as a freelance journalist until he became editor of the rocker magazine Bikers News in 1997. In 2016 he gave up the position of editor-in-chief and continued to work as chief reporter for Bikers News. On December 12, 2016, Ahlsdorf was invited as an expert to a public hearing in the Interior Committee of the Bundestag to present arguments against a change in the law on associations. Nevertheless, the political majorities led to the amendment of the Association Act on March 16, 2017, as a result of which the badges of the motorcycle clubs Bandidos MC, Gremium MC and Hells Angels MC became forbidden marks. He is also the author and editor of All About Rockers: The Laws, the History, the Machines . He also wrote two cookbooks and several books about rockers and motorcycle conversions.
