Michael Dean (artist)
Michael Dean (* 1977 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne , England ) is an English artist and sculptor .
Life
Dean studied at the London Art School Goldsmiths, University of London , where he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts . His works have so far been shown in the South London Gallery and in Amsterdam at the De Appel Center for Contemporary Arts.
Prizes and awards
In 2016 he was one of four finalists for the Turner Prize with his installation Shore at Tate Britain in London.
