Michael Emmerling
Michael Emmerling was a German businessman and local politician ( SPD ).
Career
Emmerling was born as the son of Zirndorfer magistrate and trade unionist Anton Emmerling. He was established as a merchant. In May 1945 he was appointed mayor of Zirndorf by the US military government and was confirmed in office by the city council after the first free local election. In October 1949 he resigned because the double burden of his business and public office became too great.
