Virgilio Röschlein

Virgilio Röschlein (born September 22, 1928 ) is a former German local politician ( SPD ). The vernacular called Röschlein Schilli .

Career

Röschlein was the mayor inspector in Zirndorf . He was a member of the city council and the district council of the Fürth district . After Leonhard Förtsch's death , he was nominated by the SPD for mayoral election in 1962. He prevailed against Josef Forster, Röschlein's superior, nominated by a civil alliance. He remained in office for 32 years and resigned and resigned in 1994 at the age of 65.

During his tenure, Zirndorf became a medium- sized town through the incorporation of three municipalities .

A tunnel was built to remove the level crossing of State Road 2242 east of the Zirndorf train station over the Rangau Railway. The vernacular called the tunnel after Röschlein, inaugurated on November 28, 1980, Schillischlucht .
