Michael Koeckritz

Michael Köckritz (born October 24, 1956 in Geislingen an der Steige ) is a German media entrepreneur, journalist and brand and communications consultant.

Life

Köckritz first studied medicine and then worked as an author and photographer before becoming co-editor and head of marketing and communications for the lifestyle car magazine Auto Focus . In 1995 he founded an agency for press and public relations with locations in Reutlingen and Stuttgart, which he and partners expanded from 1998 to become a full service agency for integrated brand communication. Together with Christian Gläsel , he founded Red Indians Publishing in 2007 (ramp.space since 2017) and has been the publisher and editor-in-chief of ramp , a magazine that sees itself as a car culture magazine, ever since .

Magazines

In 2010 Red Indians Publishing launched the travel culture magazine Capz , in 2011 the men's lifestyle magazine rampstyle , in 2013 the line extension rampdesign and rampclassics . Since 2017, English editions of both ramp and rampstyle have been published analogous to the German edition. Ramp has also been published as a licensed edition in China since 2013. Köckritz has received numerous awards and has received international awards from the industry.

In addition to ramp.publishing, Köckritz founded the ramp.studio agency for content-based strategic brand communication in 2017. Among other things, he developed a multichannel strategy platform Crazy about Porsche and various communication concepts and measures for Porsche.

In addition to his work as editor-in-chief and creative director, Köckritz also works as a book author and freelance journalist. Among other things, he writes for Brandeins and CP Monitor. Köckritz also designs action art on his own initiative, such as his audio book “Chillen im Stillen”.

Köckritz lives in Tübingen with his wife and three children.
