ramp is a German avant-garde car magazine and has been published by ramp.publishing (formerly Red Indians Publishing) since 2007. Ramp.publishing has been part of ramp.space GmbH & Co. KG in Reutlingen since 2017 . Michael Köckritz is the magazine's editor-in-chief .

history

In 2008 and 2010, ramp magazine was recognized by the LeadAcademy as the best car magazine in Germany, as well as in the printing competition with the berliner type and the innovation award of the German printing industry. In the first year of its publication, ramp received a Grand Award for the best non-English magazine at the 2007/2008 Mercury Excellence Awards. This was followed by Grand Awards 2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 as the best design magazine. In 2012 ramp won the 2012 Cover of the Year competition.

In 2011 Red Indians Publishing launched the line extensions rampstyle , in 2013 rampdesign and rampclassics . Since 2013 ramp has also been published in China as a licensed edition under the title ramp Car.Culture.Magazine and appears up to 12 times a year. Since 2017, English editions of both ramp and rampstyle have been published analogous to the German edition.

Since 2017, Red Indians has been operating under ramp.space GmbH & Co. KG as a combination of independent publisher ramp.publishing and the agency for content-based strategic brand communication ramp.studio founded in 2017 . Köckritz acts as managing director, editor-in-chief and creative director for both corporate divisions.
