The 2nd wheelchair basketball Bundesliga is the second highest division in German wheelchair basketball . The organizer is the German Wheelchair Sports Association (DRS).
mode
The 2nd Bundesliga is divided into the groups North and South, in which eight teams compete against each other in the first and second round. The first place in each group moves up directly to the 1st Bundesliga , in the event of a waiver, the second place moves up. The last two places in the 1st Bundesliga are relegated to the respective groups in the 2nd Bundesliga. The number of teams relegated to the first division in a group and the constant total of 8 teams in the group results in the number of teams placed last, which are relegated to the respective regional league groups below. The champions of the regional leagues north, east and west play in a promotion round in the mode "everyone against everyone" from the two promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga North, the champions of the regional leagues middle and south rise directly to the 2nd Bundesliga South.
