The Rhine River Rhinos are the wheelchair basketball players of SV Rhinos Wiesbaden eV, a sports club that was founded in Wiesbaden in September 2013 .

After the Rhinos were promoted unbeaten to the second wheelchair basketball league in their first 2013/2014 season , the team was able to secure third place in the second highest German division in the 2014/2015 season. A year later, the Rhine River Rhinos rose to the first wheelchair basketball Bundesliga (RBBL) with just one defeat in their third year after it was founded .
