The RSV Lahn-Dill is a sports club from the Hessian city of Wetzlar , which was founded in 1983.
The club has become known nationwide through wheelchair basketball , which is offered as a top-class sport, popular sport as well as children's and youth sport. There are also branches for swimming, tennis, basketball, sailing and bowling.
Wheelchair basketball
The first team plays in the 1st Bundesliga and is World Cup winner 2010, thirteen times German champions, thirteen times cup winners (eleven times the double champion and cup) and seven times European cup winners (including 6 IWBF Champions Cup ) as well as vice world cup winner 2006, he is one of the world's best Unite. She has been trained by Janet McLachlan since 2018. The team's manager is Andreas Joneck.
The venue for the Bundesliga games is the August Bebel sports hall in Wetzlar , which can hold 1900 spectators . Top games are occasionally played in the Rittal Arena Wetzlar .
