Michael Karr

Michael Karr (born September 17, 1953 in Saarbrücken ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Michael Karr studied English and Romance languages. After his state examination, he completed an internship at the Saarbrücker Zeitung. In 1984 the TV channel RTL started in Luxembourg. From 1984 to 1988 he worked as an editor and presenter at RTL-Regional 7, which was produced by the Saarbrücker Zeitung. From 1988 to 1990 he was editor and presenter at RTL breakfast television in Luxembourg. From spring 1990 he was an editor and presenter at RTL Cologne in the foreign department. He was also head of duty, reporter and deputy moderator for RTL aktuell and RTL Nachtjournal.

Among other things, he reported for the commercial broadcaster RTL as a reporter from London, Paris, Israel, Madrid, Copenhagen, Somalia, South Africa, New York and Rome , until he was replaced by reporter Antonia Rados . He was Peter Kloeppel's vacation replacement at RTL aktuell and then for Heiner Bremer at the moderation of RTL Nachtjournal.
