Michael Loeb
Michael Loeb (born August 1, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German media manager. Since July 2008 he has been managing director of the WDR mediagroup .
Career
Michael Loeb studied law at the Universities of Mannheim and Munich from 1985 to 1991. From 1991 to 1994 he worked as a trainee lawyer in Bonn and from 1994 to 1999 as a fully qualified lawyer in the legal department of Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) before moving to the management of the WDR mediagroup. Part-time he was managing director of the production company Colonia Media GmbH from 2007 to 2008. In July 2008 Loeb took over the management of WDR mediagroup GmbH in Cologne and has been the management spokesman since March 2017.
