Michael Reimann

Michael Reimann (born March 4, 1951 in Berlin ) is a German composer and author.

Life

After his first employment as a choir and orchestra conductor, he began to experiment and study exotic instruments such as the shakuhachi from Japan, the didgeridoo from Australia and the kalimba from Africa. In the current years he has presented the extraordinary instruments in his solo concert activity under the title Sounds of the World .

Reimann also accompanies Joachim-Ernst Berendt at his readings and concerts and worked with Christian Bollmann in the field of overtone music.

As an author, he published various textbooks on the subject of music and music CDs were created with unusual instruments such as singing bowls , the kalimba or sound pyramids. In 1997 he founded his own label, Acron Music . He gives seminars on music and meditation.
