Michael Ryan (football official)

Michael "Mike" Ryan is an Australian American football official . He is currently President of IFAF Oceania and holds a leadership position at the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).

Career

Ryan was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gridiron Australia , Australia's national American football association , from 2001 to 2012 . After resigning from this position, he accepted the post of Commissioner. On June 7, 2012, he was elected first president after the founding of the continental association IFAF Oceania . In January 2014 he was elected Managing Director of IFAF. In February 2015, he was replaced in this position by Andy Fuller , as Ryan took on other positions in the IFAF.
