Michael Theurillat

Michael Johannes Theurillat (* 1961 in Basel , Switzerland ) is a Swiss crime writer .

Life

Michael Theurillat studied economics , art history and history . In 1996 he received his doctorate in finance . He worked for the Swiss Bank Corporation and helped with the merger with what was then the Swiss Bank Corporation . He then became Managing Director of UBS . He started writing novels when he was 42 years old. He is known for his crime novels with the protagonist Kommissar Eschenbach . Today he lives with his family in Freienbach .
