Michel Vinaver
Michel Vinaver (* 1927 in Paris ) is a French playwright.
Life
Vinaver was born in Paris to a Russian family. He studied in Paris, Annecy and New York. His pieces primarily explore capitalist everyday life in the second half of the 20th century. For Vinaver, for example, the struggle of companies for the consumer is just as worthy of discussion as the power struggle of rulers used to be for the classic tragedy poets. Michel Vinaver's experimental text theater has so far been classified as socially critical and postmodern.
