Michele Gazich

Michele Gazich is an Italian musician, cantautore , record producer and music educator.

Live and act

Gazich performs primarily as a violin player and singer, but also plays the piano. Since the 1990s he has performed internationally - including in Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, England and Germany - with orchestras and chamber music groups and musicians such as Mary Gauthier , Tom Russell , John Hammond and Michelle Shocked . Since 2000 he has been working with Eric Andersen , with whom he performed in New York and Tokyo and produced the album Live in Cologne . Between 2006 and 2008 he toured the USA and Europe with Mark Olson , giving 300 concerts. He performed with Mary Gauthier in 2006 at London's Royal Festival Hall .

He has released several albums of his own, including Dieci Canzoni di Michele Gazich (2008), L'Imperdonabile (2011), Folk Rock (2012, with Massimo Priviero ), Verso Damasco (2012) and Una storia di mare e di sangue (2014) and worked on more than fifty other albums. He also composed film and drama music.
