Carcarès-Sainte-Croix ( Occitan : Carcarèrs e Senta Crotz ) is a French municipality with 519 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Carcarès-Sainte-Croix is part of the Dax arrondissement and the Pays Morcenais Tarusate canton (until 2015: Tartas-Est canton ).

Carcarès-Sainte-Croix is about 25 kilometers northeast of Dax . The Midouze limits the municipality to the north. Carcarès-Sainte-Croix is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Carcen-Ponson in the north and west, Saint-Yaguen in the north and north-east, Meilhan in the east and Tartas in the south.
