Saubion Town Hall (Mairie)

Saubion ( Occitan : Sauvion ) is a French municipality with 1,499 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Saubion is part of the Dax arrondissement and the Pays Tyrossais canton (until 2015: Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse canton ). The inhabitants are called Saubionnais (es) .

Saubion is located about 24 kilometers southwest of Dax near the Atlantic coast . Saubion is surrounded by the neighboring communities Tosse in the north, Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse in the east, Angresse in the south and Seignosse in the west and northwest.
