Tosse ( Occitan : Tossa ) is a French municipality with 2927 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Dax and the canton of Marensin-Sud (until 2015: canton of Soustons ). The inhabitants are called Toussais .

geography

Tosse is about 20 kilometers west of Dax and about seven kilometers from the Atlantic coast in the west. Tosse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soustons in the north, Saint-Geours-de-Maremne in the east, Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse in the south and south-east, Saubion in the south and south-west and Seignosse in the west.
