Candresse ( Occitan : Candressa ) is a French municipality with 807 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Candresse is part of the Dax arrondissement and the Dax-2 canton (until 2015: Dax-Sud canton ). The inhabitants are called Candressois .
geography
Candresse is about five kilometers east of Dax in the Marensin countryside . Candresse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in the north, Théthieu in the northeast, Hinx in the east, Sort-en-Chalosse in the southeast, Saugnac-et-Cambran in the south, Narrosse in the southwest and Yzosse in the west.
