Audon ( Occitan identical) is a French municipality with 373 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Audon belongs to the Arrondissement Dax and the Canton Pays Morcenais Tarusate (until 2015: Canton Tartas-Est ). The inhabitants are called Audonnais .

geography

Audon is about 34 kilometers east-northeast of Dax . The Midouze delimits the municipality to the north and northwest. Audon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bégaar in the north and north-west, Tartas in the east and north-east, Gouts in the south-east, Onard in the south and Vicq-d'Auribat in the west and south-west.
