Orthevielle ( Occitan Orta viela ) is a French municipality with 936 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ) in southwestern France. It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dax and the canton of Orthe et Arrigans (until 2015 Peyrehorade ). The inhabitants are called Ortheviellais .

Orthevielle is located on the Gaves Réunis River, around 25 kilometers northeast of Bayonne . Neighboring municipalities are Saint-Lon-les-Mines in the north and northwest, Bélus in the north and northeast, Peyrehorade in the east, Hastingues in the south and Port-de-Lanne in the west.
