Souprosse ( Occitan : Sopròssa ) is a French municipality with 1,122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Souprosse belongs to the Arrondissement Dax and the canton Pays Morcenais Tarusate (until 2015: Canton Tartas-Est ).

Souprosse is located about 29 kilometers east-northeast of Dax . The Adour borders the community in the south. Souprosse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Meilhan in the north, Le Leuy in the northeast, Lamothe in the east, Cauna in the east and southeast, Toulouzette in the south and southeast, Nerbis in the south, Mugron in the south and southwest, Gouts in the west and Tartas in the west and northwest .
