Angoumé ( Occitan : En Gomer ) is a French municipality with 281 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Angoumé belongs to the Dax arrondissement and the Dax-1 canton (until 2015: Dax-Nord canton ).

geography

Angoumé is located about seven kilometers west-southwest of Dax on the Adour River , which borders the municipality in the south. Angoumé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mées in the north and east, Tercis-les-Bains in the south and south-east and Rivière-Saas-et-Gourby in the south and west.
