Ossages ( Occitan : Ossadjas ) is a French municipality with 504 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Dax and is part of the canton of Orthe et Arrigans (until 2015: canton of Pouillon ). The inhabitants are called Ossageois .
geography
Ossages is about 19 kilometers southeast of Dax . Ossages is surrounded by the neighboring communities Mouscardès in the north, Tilh in the north and northeast, Saint-Girons-en-Béarn in the east, Baigts-de-Béarn in the southeast, Ramous in the south, Puyôo in the south and southwest and Habas in the west.
