Saint-Jean-de-Marsacq ( Occitan : Sent Joan de Marsac ) is a French municipality with 1614 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Saubion is part of the Dax arrondissement and the Pays Tyrossais canton (until 2015: Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse canton ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Jeannais (es) .

Saint-Jean-de-Marsacq is located about 17 kilometers west-southwest of Dax . The Adour limits the municipality to the east. Saint-Jean-de-Marsacq is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse in the north and north-west, Josse in the north and north-east, Pey in the east, Saint-Étienne-d'Orthe in the south-east, Saint-Martin-de- Hinx in the south and Saubrigues in the west.
