Préchacq-les-Bains ( Occitan Preishac ) is a French commune in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality is located in the south of the department and has 733 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the canton of Coteau de Chalosse (until 2015 Montfort-en-Chalosse ) within the Dax arrondissement . The inhabitants are called Préchacquois .
geography
Préchacq-les-Bains is about 14 kilometers east-northeast of Dax . The Adour borders the community in the west and the Louts in the south. Préchacq-les-Bains is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pontonx-sur-l'Adour in the north and northwest, Gousse in the north and northeast, Louer in the east, Gamarde-les-Bains in the southeast, Goos in the south and Téthieu in the west.
