The Louts (sometimes spelled Lous ) is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Thèze and Auriac , drains generally in a north-westerly direction through the Chalosse landscape and flows into the Adour after 86 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Préchacq-les-Bains and Goos as a left tributary . On its way, the Louts crosses the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Landes departments .
