The Canton of Montfort-en-Chalosse was 2015 a French constituency in the district Dax , in the Landes department and in the region of Aquitaine .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "Dax District". With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redefined as part of what was then the Dax arrondissement.

geography
The canton bordered the canton of Tartas to the north, the canton Mugron to the east, the cantons of Amou and Pouillon to the south and the cantons of Dax-Sud and Dax-Nord to the west .
