The Canton of Dax-Nord was by 2015 a constituency in the district Dax , in the Landes department and in the region of Aquitaine in France . Henri Bedat ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2011 to 2015 .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "Dax District".
With the founding of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the Dax arrondissement.

geography
The canton bordered the canton Castets in the north, the cantons Tartas-Ouest and Montfort-en-Chalosse in the east, the Dax-Sud canton in the south and the Soustons canton in the west .
