Saint-Paul-les-Dax is a French municipality with 13,413 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants are called Saint-Paulois (es).
geography
The place is in Marensin , a coastal region of the Landes . It is 20 kilometers to the coast of the Bay of Biscay . Saint-Paul-lès-Dax is located directly on the northern outskirts of Dax ; the Adour forms the southern municipal boundary. In the middle of the municipality is the Lac de Christ , which drains into the Adour.
The parish is surrounded by Herm in the northwest, Gourbera in the north, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in the northeast and east, Yzosse in the southeast, Dax in the south, Mées in the southwest and Magescq in the west and northwest.
The Via Turonensis , the northernmost Way of St. James , leads through the village .
