Pey ( Occitan Pei ) is a French municipality with 676 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ) in southwestern France. It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dax and the canton of Orthe et Arrigans (until 2015 Peyrehorade ). The inhabitants are called Peyreutchs .

geography

Pey is located about 25 kilometers northeast of Bayonne and about 18 kilometers southwest of Dax on the Adour , which borders the municipality in the west. Neighboring municipalities are Josse in the north and north-west, Orist in the east and north-east, Saint-Étienne-d'Orthe in the south and south-east and Saint-Jean-de-Marsacq in the west.
