Gouts ( Occitan : Gots ) is a French municipality with 276 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Gouts belongs to the Arrondissement Dax and the Canton Pays Morcenais Tarusate (until 2015: Canton Tartas-Est ). The inhabitants are called Goutsois .

geography

Gouts is about 22 kilometers east-northeast of Dax . The Adour borders the community in the south. Gouts is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tartas in the north, Souprosse in the east, Mugron in the southeast, Laurède in the south, Poyanne in the southwest, Onard in the west and Audon in the northwest.
