Toulouzette ( Occitan Toloseta ) is a French municipality with 322 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). Toulouzette belongs to the Arrondissement of Dax and the canton of Coteau de Chalosse (until 2015 Mugron ). The inhabitants are called Toulouzettains .

geography

Toulouzette is about thirty kilometers east-northeast of Dax . The Gabas flows through the municipality and flows into the Adour here , which forms the northern municipal boundary. Toulouzette is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Souprosse in the north and northwest, Cauna in the north and northeast, Saint-Sever in the east, Montaut in the south and southeast, Hauriet in the south and Nerbis in the west.
