Gaujacq ( Occitan : Gaujac ) is a French commune in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the south of the department and has 435 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the canton of Coteau de Chalosse (until 2015: canton of Amou ) within the arrondissement of Dax .

geography

Gaujacq is about 19 kilometers east-southeast of Dax . The Luy limits the community in the south. Gaujacq is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Caupenne in the north and northwest, Bergouey in the north and northeast, Brassempouy in the east, Amou in the south, Castel-Sarrazin in the southwest and Bastennes in the west.
