Narrosse ( Occitan Narròssa ) is a French commune near the Atlantic coast in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Narrosse has 3210 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the Arrondissement of Dax and the canton of Dax-2 . The inhabitants are called Narrossais (es) .
geography
The river Luy forms the southern boundary of the municipality. Narrosse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Yzosse in the north, Candresse in the east and northeast, Saugnac-et-Cambran in the southeast, Saint-Pandelon in the south and southwest and Dax in the west.

The name appears as early as the 11th century in the Liber Rubeus of the chapter of the Cathedral of Dax.
