The Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Dax is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on December 27, 1993 and comprises 20 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the city of Dax .

Historical development

The community association originally founded as Communauté de communes du Grand Dax was converted into the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération under the current name with effect from January 1, 2007 .
