Oeyreluy ( Occitan : Ueire Lui ) is a French municipality with 1508 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Oeyreluy belongs to the Dax arrondissement and the Dax-2 canton (until 2015: Dax-Sud canton ). The inhabitants are called Oeyrelois .
geography
Oeyreluy is located about four kilometers south-southwest of Dax am Luy in the Marensin landscape . Oeyreluy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Dax in the north, Seyresse in the northeast, Saint-Pandelon in the east, Heugas in the south and Tercis-les-Bains in the west.
Most of the former military airfield of Dax-Seyresse is in the municipality.
