Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (also abbreviated MCSE ) is the name of a Microsoft certification that is available for various Microsoft technologies. The certificate is the successor to the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer , which was also abbreviated as MCSE .
The MCSE certification should be discontinued by Microsoft on June 30, 2020, due to the corona pandemic , the termination will be postponed to January 31, 2021.
Specializations
At the end of March 2017, Microsoft made some changes to the specialization directions. a. the following certificates can no longer be acquired again:
- MCSE: Server Infrastructure
- MCSE: messaging
- MCSE: Communication
- MCSE: SharePoint
- MCSE: Mobility (no longer available as of March 31, 2019)
Anyone who has the appropriate certification must be recertified every three years. At the current time (as of August 2019) you will automatically receive one of the following certifications if you have successfully passed one of the specified exams and you have one of the underlying Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certifications .

The exams for the Microsoft Certifications can be taken at any Pearson VUE test center.
