Pearson VUE

Pearson VUE , headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota , USA , is a provider of computer-based tests and partner of test centers for certificates in the fields

The subsidiary of the British Pearson PLC was founded in 1994 by Clarke Porter, Steve Nordberg and Kirk Lundeen under the name Virtual University Enterprises (VUE). The company is represented in over 100 countries and has more than 5,000 authorized test centers. In 2012, Pearson VUE took over the test provider Certiport, where IT certificates can be obtained in more than 14,000 test centers worldwide. The president is Robert D. Whelan.

Possible IT certificates that can be obtained from Pearson VUE are, for example, from the Linux Professional Institute , Microsoft , Adobe , HP or Cisco .
