The Middle Hamberg Lake is, as its English name suggests, the middle of the Hamberg Lakes on South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located east of Glacier Col . The lake is about 2 km long, its greatest width is 800 m. There are several small islands and headlands in it.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2004. It is named after the Swedish geographer, mineralogist and Arctic explorer Axel Hamberg (1863–1933).
