The track with a track width of 321 mm (12⅝ inches ) was transferred to the 550 m long pier in Midland Beach. The steam locomotive was built like a standard steam locomotive in every respect and could pull a train of nine cars. Its length was 1630 mm (5 feet 4 inches), its width was 460 mm (18 inches), and its height was 710 mm (28 inches) from the rail to the top of the chimney. The passenger cars were 1,500 mm (5 feet) long and 560 mm (22 inches) wide. The train traveled 8 pounds per yard (4.0 kg / m) on T-rails.

locomotive

The Liliput locomotive was manufactured by the Miniature Railroad Company in New York. Their miniature trains have shown themselves to be profitable in both tram parks and some trade shows such as the Pan American Exhibition in Buffalo and those in Omaha , Philadelphia and Charleston in the early 1900s. Some of the tram parks in which these miniature trains operated in 1902 were those of the Oil City Railway Company, Oil City, Pennsylvania , the West Chicago Street Railway Company, and the Richmond Beach Railway Company.
